Coffman designed and began producing 6010 handrail, 4040 & 4091 box newels, and many commonly used products.

Woodmark International was founded.
2000
Coffman Stair Building Guide is introduced as the industry standard for how to
build stairs.
2012
WM Coffman was formed as the merger of Coffman and Woodmark International bringing together the best wood and iron stair parts
2014
Creates the Interchangeable Box Newel System, a groundbreaking approach for customizing your staircase.

Coffman Stair Parts was acquired by Broadview Group Holdings
